WHAT IS NO GROW?

No Grow is a fast-action hair removal cream that is tried and tested to remove hair, leave skin soft and subtle, and slow down hair regrowth. No Grow is a solution to the removal of undesired hair that is easy & effective.

HOW DOES NO GROW WORK?

During the hair cycle, No Grow reduces the concentration of nutrients to the follicle of the hair. This causes miniaturization of the root so that the hair becomes progressively thinner and softer. With continual use, No Grow will help to reduce hair regrowth.

DOES NO GROW REMOVE SURFACE HAIR?

No Grow should not be confused with a depilatory cream (surface hair remover). Whilst the product does contain an ingredient which dissolves fine surface hair, this is not the primary function of the product. Don’t be alarmed if after an application, there are remaining hairs. Dihydromyricetin, the active ingredient, has already absorbed through the surface hair to the 2nd and 3rd hair, starving the follicle of nourishment, this is what gives the long term results.

Shave, pluck etc. 24-hours post treatment if required. If waxing is your preferred hair removal method, please ensure you wait for at least 7-days pre or post-wax before applying No Grow (waxing removes the first layer of your skin, thus making the skin extra sensitive). Applying No Grow after a wax could cause contact dermatitis or sensitive skin.

DO YOU CONTINUE WITH YOUR USUAL HAIR REMOVAL METHOD WHILE USING NO GROW WEEKLY?

Yes, No Grow is a growth inhibitor system that you add to your current hair removal routine. Remove your surface hair 24-hours post application.

During the first couple of months, we recommend applying No Grow to your surface hair when it’s 1-2mm in length. This helps to eliminate wastage and also assists with the actual process. Over time your hair will grow back thinner and slower until it eventually stops altogether.

Do not remove your surface hair prior to application.

If waxing is your preferred hair removal method, please ensure you wait for at least 7-days pre or post-wax before applying No Grow (waxing removes the first layer of your skin, thus making the skin extra sensitive). Applying No Grow after a wax could cause contact dermatitis or sensitive skin.

HOW MANY APPLICATIONS WILL I NEED BEFORE THE HAIR GROWTH STOPS COMPLETELY AND RESULTS ARE ACHIEVED?

To achieve long term results you need to apply the cream weekly for 8-months to ensure you cover all 3-growth phases of the hair growth cycle.

IS THERE A WAY TO ACHIEVE QUICKER RESULTS?

Unfortunately, there is no way to obtain quicker results. The treatment length is based on the 3-growth phases of the hair cycle that No Grow has to target, this is generally 8-months.

HOW LONG BEFORE MY HAIR STARTS TO GROW BACK AFTER EVERY APPLICATION?

Growth of new hair is reduced every time you use No Grow. You should notice reduction and density of hairs on the skin after approximately the fourth month. Hair grows back thinner and slower each time. Continue with your weekly applications no matter what your hair growth is doing.

IS NO GROW SUITABLE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES?

Yes, it is suitable for all skin types. In some cases, it is normal to experience redness or a slight rash on completion of the application. This is perfectly normal and no cause for alarm. No Grow has created stimulation in the application area and it is an inflammatory response. These effects will disappear within half an hour.

Burning or stinging is not normal, ensure you remove immediately if this occurs. Always respect your skin response.

Do not use No Grow on medical skin conditions like Psoriasis, Contact Dermatitis, Impetigo, Skin Cancer, Eczema, or Rosacea.

IS THERE ANY SKIN SENSATION WHEN NO GROW IS APPLIED?

It is normal for the skin to tingle when the product is applied. Burning or stinging is not normal, ensure you remove immediately if this occurs.

Always respect your skin response.

I HAVE VERY SENSITIVE SKIN, CAN I STILL USE NO GROW?

No Grow is a gentle product and should not cause irritation unless you have an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. Customers who have naturally sensitive skin are recommended to gradually introduce No Grow to their skin by starting off slow with shorter treatment times. Start at 3-minutes and gradually increase the application time weekly until you find your perfect time.

Never leave No Grow on your face for more than 5-minutes and 15-minutes on your body. It takes No Grow 5-minutes to activate the hair follicle, therefore long extended treatment times are not required.

It is strongly recommended to use our Soothing Aftercare Gel even if you don't naturally have sensitive skin (anti-irritant and calming properties).

DOES NO GROW GET ABSORBED INTO THE BLOODSTREAM?

No Grow does penetrate the skin (epidermis) but is not absorbed systemically (into the bloodstream).

I DID NOT PURCHASE YOUR SOOTHING AFTERCARE GEL, WHAT ELSE CAN I USE TO SOOTH MY SKIN?

In rare cases you may feel a ‘tight’ sensation on your skin post treatment. We recommend our ‘Soothing Aftercare Gel’ as the first and foremost option, however, a natural Aloe Vera gel can also be used if necessary.

You may apply any cream, serums, make-up or shaving cream 30-minutes after application.

Do not apply any active ingredients like Vitamin C, AHA’s or Chemical Exfoliants for at least 24 hours after No Grow application.

Vitamin A application, as well as Peel’s, Derma Pen treatments, laser, and the like, should only be done 7 days prior or post No Grow application.

I AM CURRENTLY ON ROACCUTANE, CAN I USE NO GROW?

No Grow is not suitable for persons on scheduled medications like Roaccutane, Cortisone or any medication that can cause irritation or thinning of the skin. Application of No Grow can commence 6-weeks after the final intake of the above mentioned medications but we do recommend you first check with your medical specialist.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VARIANTS?

Each product has a varying amount of active ingredient that is aligned with the typical type of hair and skin sensitivity. Each variant is therefore formulated specifically for the area that is indicated. We do not recommend using the different variants on all parts of the body.

DOES NO GROW WORK ON ALL HAIR COLOURS?

No Grow works on all kinds of hair, blond to black, blonde to grey, straight or curly, fine or course. No Grow will react with all colors and all types of hair.

I AM 4-MONTHS INTO MY TREATMENT AND ALREADY NOTICING THAT MY HAIR IS EITHER GROWING BACK PATCHY OR VERY SLOWLY. DO I SLOW DOWN MY TREATMENTS TO WAIT FOR THE HAIR TO GROW?

DO NOT stop with your applications, a weekly routine is key to long term results. As we never know which growth phase our hair is in, we need to remain consistent for 8-months to ensure all 3-growth phases are treated. Not all of the phases are seen with the naked eye, so weekly applications ensure they are all treated. If you do not treat your hair for the full 8-months there is a good chance your hair will start growing back. We are after long term results, which will require time. No Grow is not a quick fix and diligent weekly applications have the best results.

WHAT IF I MISS A WEEK OF USING NO GROW?

Results vary from person to person - being 2 or 3 days late may not have a measurable effect on your progress, however, extended periods with no applications are likely to require additional applications to complete the process. (Ultimately costing you more than it needed to).

Without a doubt, people who are diligent have the best results.

CAN NO GROW BE USED ON TEENAGERS?

Yes, No Grow has been used successfully on teenagers under the guidance of their parent/guardian.

The active ingredients in No Grow are gentle and have not resulted in any known side effects.

A small number of users may experience slight stinging and itching if the product is left on the skin for more than the instructed time period.

DOES NO GROW FACIAL PRODUCTS CAUSE PIGMENTATION?

No, our products do not cause pigmentation or cause current pigmentation to get worse.

I HAVE HORMONAL FACIAL HAIR (LIKE A MALE BEARD), WHICH IS THE BEST PRODUCT FOR ME?

We recommend ladies with hormonal facial hair to start with the Female Facial variant and then slowly transition over to the Male Beard after about 3-months. The reason for this is that the Male Beard variant is the strongest cream out of the range with the most amount of active ingredient. A ladies facial skin is on average 20% thinner than a males skin, we, therefore, have to gradually introduce the Male Beard product.

It is also recommended to use our Soothing Aftercare Gel as it is not only an anti-irritant with calming properties, but also contains a small amount of active ingredient in order to tackle hair density and enhance the effect of your No Grow plan.

MAY I USE MY USUAL FACIAL SKINCARE PRODUCTS AFTER APPLYING THIS PRODUCT?

Wait for at least half an hour before applying any cream, serums, make-up or shaving cream.

Do not apply any active ingredients like Vitamin C, AHA’s or Chemical Exfoliants for at least 24 hours after NO Grow application.

Vitamin A application, as well as Peel’s, Derma Pen treatments, laser, and the like, should only be done 7 days prior or post No Grow application.

We recommend using our Soothing Aftercare Gel immediately after application.

ARE THERE ANY SENSITIVE AREAS TO AVOID WHEN USING THE FACIAL PRODUCTS?

The key areas to exercise special caution when using No Grow Facial is the eyes, eyebrows, inside your nose and any other soft tissue areas.

Do not use No Grow on a skin rash, or on irritated, sunburned, inflamed or broken skin.

WHAT AREAS OF MY FACE DO I USE THE NO GROW FACIAL PRODUCTS?

Formulated for facial hair, use the No Grow Facial variants on:

- Chin
- Cheeks
- Upper Lip
- Male Beard

IS NO GROW BODY SAFE TO USE OVER TATTOOS?

No Grow can be used over tattoos.

The technology is pulled into the hair shaft to neutralize the hair bulb, therefore it does not affect pigment in the tattoo. We have many clients who have used No Grow over their tattoos.

As with any new product, we suggest doing a skin test 24-hours prior to full application.

CAN I USE FAKE TANNING PRODUCTS AT THE SAME TIME AS NO GROW?

No Grow is not recommended to be used over fake tan as it will remove the product from your skin.

I AM FEMALE AND HAVE THICK DARK LEG HAIR, SHOULD I USE THE MALE BODY VERSION INSTEAD OF THE FEMALE BODY?

Unless your leg hair represents male leg hair we still suggest using the Female Body for your leg hairs. On average, male skin is approximately 20% thicker than female skin.

To assist with thick/coarse leg hair, we suggest rather pairing the Female Body variant with our Soothing Aftercare Gel. This topical gel is not only anti-irritant and calming, but also contains a small amount of Dihydromyricetin (active ingredient) in order to tackle hair density and enhance the effect of your No Grow plan.

WHAT AREAS OF MY BODY DO I USE NO GROW BODY ON (MALE & FEMALE)

Formulated for body hair, use the No Grow Body variants on:

- Arms
- Legs
- Back
- Chest
- Stomach

CAN NO GROW INTIMATE BE USED ON A FULL BRAZILIAN?

Yes, a Brazilian can be achieved but with extra caution. Our Intimate Body is the cream suitable to achieve this for male and female genital areas.

No Grow can be used on the vaginal lips, the base of the penis, scrotum, bum cheeks and around your anus.

Do not put No Grow directly on your anus, soft tissue and any mucus membranes. You must barrier these areas with Vaseline and cotton wool/tissue.

WHICH CREAM CAN I USE TO REMOVE HAIR FROM MY BREASTS?

The most suitable cream for hair growth on the female breast (around the areola) is our Intimate Body variant.

It is advised to start with a slow routine by introducing the cream gradually to the sensitive skin (start with a 3-minute application and increase the time weekly).

No Grow must not be put on the nipples, barrier this area with Vaseline prior to application

ARE THERE ANY SENSITIVE AREAS TO AVOID WHEN USING NO GROW INTIMATE BODY?

No Grow must not be put on nipples, or any soft tissue genital areas i.e. vagina membrane and anus.

Do not use No Grow on a skin rash, or on irritated, sunburned, inflamed or broken skin.
